Friends

I want to thank our generous classmate Angela Lin (曾喜美) and her husband (Jen-Tao Lin) for their hospitality during the past 25+ years.  Before our big reunion in 1990 with our Dept. of Economics friends, the Lins invited all of us to their mansion (see photos below).  You can tell, we good old friends had a great time together.  From then on, they invited us almost every year until 2016 -- that year I couldn't gather enough classmates to make the trip (about 50 miles each way).  The last time we met at their mansion was 11/14/2015.

Even though Angela and I did not know each other well at NTU, we become close friends in the U.S.  We were a good team for organizing gatherings. We fondly remember all the fun we had during those happy years.  I heard Angela is in Taipei now, where Shirley Chang (林秀菊) is arranging a small gathering.  Have fun!
